Coleman
~ Glass Carving
Doug Coleman lives in rural West Virginia on a farm near New Martinsville,
and has been a professional glass carver since 1981. Each piece is an
original, carved by hand, one at a time using a unique sandblast system.
Doug is a juried member of the West Virginia Art and Craft Guild and
markets his work through Tamarack and other fine shops and galleries
throughout the United States. Doug has participated in numerous juried
fairs such as the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair, Mountain Heritage
Festival and Augusta Festival. In 2005 he was commissioned by First Lady
Gayle Manchin to produce a limited edition, four year series of ornaments
benefiting the West Virginia Governoršs Mansion Preservation Foundation. |
